Prepare yourself for a new experience in pumpkin picking. From September to November, we offer schools, families, friends and groups an opportunity to enjoy breathtaking scenery, tractor-pulled hay wagon rides, pet and feed friendly farm animals, savor our delicious honey, fresh pressed apple cider, apple cider donuts, homemade mixes, apple butter, fresh preserves, and other treats at our farm, like Halloween decorations, pumpkin carving tools, and everything you’ll need to prepare your own events and parties!
Plus, The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, available exclusively at Demarest Farms, delivers a message of tolerance and kindness in a fun, accessible format that is easily grasped by young students.

School Groups and other organizations are welcome to Demarest Farms — Bergen County’s only pick your own peach orchard, apple orchard, and pumpkin patch. Reservations are required for groups of 20 or more, from 9:00AM-3:00PM. Cost: $12 per person, which includes free parking, entrance to pumpkin patch, hay wagon ride, two petting zoos, adventure playground, corn box, photo display area, crooked house village, wooden playsets, a picnic area with tables! You get to pick the largest pumpkin you can carry. Plus, you also get an apple cider donut and a cup of fresh pressed cider!

Pumpkin Patch Hours: Open to the public Saturday, Sunday and all holidays 9:00am to 4:30pm, and Monday thru Friday 3pm to 4:30pm.
Cost: $7 per person (Age 2 and over) General Admission, which includes free parking, entrance to pumpkin patch, hay wagon ride, two petting zoos, adventure playground, corn box, photo display area, crooked house village, wooden playsets, and picnic area with tables; plus $10 (in addition to general admission) per pumpkin (any size pumpkin)!

New Jersey is the Garden State, and one of our favorite fall fruits is the pumpkin. Yes, pumpkins are technically fruit! They’re plentiful in our state and ready for picking.
